Nextdoor sponsors Toronto FC

Nextdoor Canada, a social media service specializing in neighbourhood information, has signed a sponsorship agreement with soccer team the Toronto FC. As part of this multi-year partnership agreement, the site will conduct a campaign in the Greater Toronto Area called “Neighbour of the Match.” According to the company, the campaign will recognize residents of the city who are “making a difference in their neighbourhoods.” It also includes stadium brand exposure at BMO Field and a series of neighbourhood events.
“Nextdoor, like soccer, is growing rapidly across Canada,” said Christopher Doyle, managing director of Nextdoor Canada. “Since their first year in the league, Toronto FC has brought neighbours together, standing for all neighbours and neighbourhoods. We’re proud to partner with a club that celebrates Toronto’s diversity and the transformative power of community.”
