Wondershare begins back-to-school contest

Vancouver-based software company Wondershare has begun a contest promotion called “Back to School, Back to Fun.” Until Sept. 30, students, parents or educators can enter by submitting a video depicting “fun back-to-school and summer moments” to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or YouTube using a campaign hashtag. Eight winners will be selected based on the quality of the content and the number of likes or comments they receive. Prizes will include a MacBook Air laptop, two Beats Studio 3 wireless headphones and five $100 Target electronic gift cards.
“A new school season is just not about kids going to school, it is also the time for educators to reach out to students around the world via online learning platforms,” said Shaan Jahagirdar, chief design officer at Wondershare. "While for parents, an excellent opportunity to discover, learn or create videos to fulfill their hobbies. This is the time to be a part of shorts, reels or TikTok.”
