Mucho Burrito conducts contest in Alberta

Fast food chain Mucho Burrito has begun a promotion in Alberta in collaboration with musician MacKenzie Porter. The initiative takes the form of a contest that invites consumers to “Build Your Own Burrito.” From Aug. 4 to 25, consumers can post their entries on social media using a campaign hashtag. The winning entry will be added to the chain’s menu in Alberta, and the winner will receive one percent in royalties from its sales for one month. Two runners-up will receive a Mexican-themed prize package.
“We know Canadians want first-rate ingredients,” said Eliza Lee, senior marketing manager at the chain’s parent company, MTY Franchising. “Mucho Burrito is proud to have a menu that offers both quality and variety, so Canadians can keep their meals interesting. Canadians have enjoyed building their own burritos at Mucho locations for years and now we're excited to take it to the next level. With this contest, we're celebrating everything summer and Mucho Burrito have to offer: vibrancy, heat and fun.”
