Polar rebrands as Nova

Toronto-based advertising technology company Polar has rebranded as Nova. The new brand will cover all of the company’s services for publishers, agencies, brands, advertising technology services, connected television providers and media companies. The company has also launched a new service that can convert social media videos into a format suitable for Internet-connected television sets.
“The cost of creative shouldn't be a barrier to reaching audiences for the thousands of small to midsize advertisers,” said Nova president Matt Crenshaw. “We're providing more value out of what they have that's already working with a cost effective extension of their social feeds into CTV and other video inventory.”
