Montana's begins rib promotion

Restaurant chain Montana's has begun a national promotion in support of its All-You-Can-Eat Ribfest. From July 9 to Aug. 11, consumers will be able to sample the chain’s ribs at locations in 15 Canadian cities. The touring promotion will also include activities such as face painting and mechanical bull riding at some locations.
The promotion also includes a social media contest called “Get Montana’s Messy.” Consumers can enter for weekly prizes, or the grand prize of a barbeque and smoker set, by submiting photographs or videos of their faces with barbeque sauce on them, along with the campaign hashtag. Consumers can also enter at participating restaurants. Montana’s is a subsidiary of Recipe Unlimited.
“We're excited to bring our famous ribs on the road, have fun and get Montana's messy with guests across the country,” said Adrianne Largo, marketing director at Montana's. “We believe in a Canada where no one goes hungry and that's why we are proud to partner with Food Banks Canada and give back to the communities that we are a part of.”
