Via Rail sponsors Canada Day contest

Via Rail Canada is sponsoring a contest promotion in collaboration with Canadian Heritage, timed to coincide with Canada Day on July 1. Called the “National Canada Day Contest,” the effort is intended to encourage consumers to reconnect with friends and family members this summer. Two winners will receive prizes of a train trip for four to a Canadian destination of the winners’ choice. Consumers can enter the contest at <https://feteducanadaday.ca/contest>.
“After a two-year pause on in-person celebrations, these sponsorships highlight the joy we all feel to finally be able to reconnect with friends and family,” said Michael Acosta, senior director of commercial affairs at Via. “As Via Rail offers more travel options to Canadians just in time for the summer season, we want to encourage Canadians to get out and explore our beautiful country by train.”
