Cadillac Fairview begins Capture the Moment campaign
By Adnews Staff
Cadillac Fairview has begun a promotion called “Capture the Moment” which features a series of artworks in participating shopping malls nationally. The murals, created by local artists, are intended to “encourage meaningful moments of self-reflection,” according to the company. Each mural incorporates mirrors to reflect the image of the viewer as part of the artwork. As part of the promotion, the company will also make donations to seven local community groups that support mental health and well-being. The promotion was developed in collaboration with Massivart. It will be supported with social media activities. Participating malls include CF Fairview Pointe Claire in Montreal, CF Shops at Don Mills in Toronto, CF Masonville in London, CF Rideau Centre in Ottawa and CF Richmond Centre in Vancouver.
“At Cadillac Fairview, we understand the power of art in bringing places to life, and its ability to create a sense of inspiration and wonder,” said Andrea Nickel, senior director of experience and engagement at Cadillac Fairview. “With the help of seven talented artists, we've transformed areas of our shopping centres into vibrant, engaging and meaningful works of art. This must-see work is an important call to action to be present in the moment, and we're excited for Canadians to participate in the experience and their own personal moments of self-reflection.”
