Simplii Financial conducts Simple Mathematics campaign

Mobile banking company Simplii Financial has begun a new campaign called “Simple Mathematics.” Developed by Broken Heart Love Affair of Toronto, the campaign promotes the company’s $350 bonus for consumers opening a new chequing account. The promotion will run until the end of July. The campaign highlights the ease with which this money can by acquired by comparing alternatives. The campaign includes video, radio, out-of-home and social media advertising. Media work is being handled by Mediacom.
“To raise awareness of the offer and get Canadians to act now, we wanted to demonstrate that it’s not every day you have the chance to earn $350 this easily,” said Kristy Pleckaitis, vice-president of strategy at the agency. “By simply juxtaposing the far worse alternatives like bird-sitting 35 birds for $10 each or fixing seven toilets for $50 to just opening a no-fee chequing account with Simplii, people really get the point.”
