IHealthOX conducts IBelong campaign
By Adnews Staff
IHealthOX, a Toronto-based company specializing in health and wellness benefits for employers, has begun a new campaign called “IBelong.” According to the company, the initiative is intended to encourage human resources departments to creating more inclusive workplaces. It focuses in particular on supporting mental health care in the workplace via a collection of online materials at <https://ihealthox.com/ibelong>. These will be accompanied by webinars, social media content and a contest element.
“The past two years have wreaked havoc on mental health in the workplace, bringing unprecedented attention to a pre-existing healthcare crisis that was exacerbated by COVID,” said Terri Storey, CEO of IHealthOX. “The cost of doing nothing, or providing ineffective benefits, puts organizations at a higher risk of employee burnout, attrition and absenteeism, an increase in LTD benefits paid, a critical labour shortage, and low employee engagement. While most companies have diversity, equity and inclusion strategies, 'belonging' is often a missing component. The IBelong campaign will focus on strategies HR leaders can start employing right away to attract, and keep, an engaged workforce.”
