New CEO, president at Metroland Media

Torstar of Toronto has promoted Neil Oliver to the position of chief executive officer and president of Metroland Media. He was most recently the company’s chief operating officer and has worked at Metroland and the Toronto Star for 35 years. Oliver will be responsible for Torstar's community publications, regional daily newspapers and press operations. He will also support the print operations of the Toronto Star.
