Hisense Canada begins World Cup campaign

Home appliance company Hisense Canada of Mississauga has begun a campaign called “Expect the Unexpected” tied to its sponsorship of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. According to the the company, the promotion is intended to recognize Canada’s return to the soccer tournament for the first time since 1986. The campaign will include contests, giveaways and promoional events through the year. It will primarily promote the company’s line of television sets.
“As Hisense prepares to celebrate its 10th year in Canada, we can’t think of a finer way to do that than with the Canadian men’s national team heading to Qatar,” said Puneet Jain, senior director of marketing and electronic commerce at Hisense Canada. “Stay tuned for announcements over the coming months that celebrate global football and Canada’s rising stock in the game.”
