Clutch sponsors NHL

Online car retailer Clutch has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the National Hockey League. The company will now be the official online pre-owned car retailer of the league in Canada. This is the first time the company has sponsored a major professional sports league. The agreement gives Clutch a variety of marketing rights and designations, including virtual on-ice brand exposure during the 2022 playoffs and Stanley Cup games broadcast on Sportsnet.
In addition, Clutch will conduct a contest, the two winners of which will each receive two tickets to a game of their choice in the first round of the playoffs, as well as spending money, flights and hotel rooms. Consumers can enter by following the brand on Instagram. Other contests and promotions will take place during the playoffs via TikTok.
“We're so excited to be kicking off this incredible partnership with the National Hockey League,” said Whitney Bell, vice-president of marketing at Clutch. “There is nothing that connects Canadians quite like our love of hockey, and we are looking forward to sharing our best-in-class online car-buying experience with Canadian hockey-lovers over the coming years.”
