Ferrero begins Butterfinger campaign

Ferrero Canada has begun a promotion in support of the launch of its Butterfinger candy bar in Canada. The promotion, developed by Golin, makes use of branded vending machines that will be placed at four Ontario university campuses: the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, Western University and Ryerson University. The machines are intended to give students the opportunity to take a break while studying for final exams. Consumers can receive a “study pack” from the machines by scanning a QR code with a smartphone and answering a one-question survey about their study habits.
