Loblaw, Esso expand loyalty program agreement
By Adnews Staff
Loblaw Companies has extended its agreement with Imperial to allow participants in its PC Optimum loyalty program to redeem points at Esso gas stations. Participants in the program have been able to receive points for purchases at Esso stations since 2018. Points can now be redeemed for fuel and car washes. With this expanded agreement, the Esso Extra loyalty program will be discontinued. Consumers can convert accumulated Esso Extra points to PC Optimum points until April 30 at Esso locations or online.
"The PC Optimum program was designed to reward Canadians on their purchases of things they need most," said Ryan Markle, senior loyalty vice-president at Loblaw Companies. "Food, health, beauty and apparel, and through our relationship with Imperial, fuel. With today's announcement, members can now earn and redeem points at more than 4,500 locations across the country, making real savings and real rewards easy."
