Craft readies Creative for a Cause contest
Toronto-based Craft Public Relations is preparing an initiative called “Creative for a Cause” in association with First Book Canada. The national effort is aimed at public relations students and will take place on March 11 and 12. It will take the form of a 24-hour online event during which participants will develop a communications plan for First Book. The team that submits the winning plan, as determined by a panel of judges, will receive $5,000. In addition, First Book will receive $5,000 to implement the plan. Entries will be open until Feb. 18. First Book Canada is an organization that works to support equal access to quality education by supplying books, educational resources and other materials to approximately 10,000 educators teaching children in need.
