Volkswagen begins Spotify campaign
Volkswagen Canada of Toronto has begun an online campaign called “A Year in Electric.” The campaign is running as part of Spotify Wrapped, the streaming audio service’s annual recap of its most-streamed songs. The promotion consists of a playlist of songs related to electric power, released on the brand’s Spotify account and its social media pages. The campaign was developed by Type1, with creative by Taxi.
“It’s always fantastic when a brand can put their mission into action,” said Alexis Bronstorph, co-chief creative officer at Taxi. “Volkswagen’s commitment to carbon net neutrality is more than just a statement. We can bring this to life in really fun ways, like getting in on something we all love to share, Spotify Wrapped.”
