Skinopathy conducts Stop Waiting campaign
By Adnews Staff
Skinopathy, a medical technology company based in Toronto, has begun a campaign called “Stop Waiting” intended to encourage consumers to get themselves checked for melanoma and skin cancer. The social media initiative, which promotes the company’s GetSkinHelp mobile application, is being conducted in association with the Melanoma Network of Canada, the Canadian Skin Cancer Foundation and the Save Your Skin Foundation. The effort focuses on early detection as a key to effective treatment.
“That is what the ‘Stop Waiting’ campaign and the new GetSkinHelp app are all about,” said Keith Loo, CEO of GetSkinHelp. “We want to provide Canadians a simple way to get their skin examined by doctors.”
