Enterprise launches Creative Currency
By Adnews Staff
Enterprise of Toronto has launched a new advertising agency and content marketing firm called Creative Currency. According to the company, the agency will combine public affairs and traditional advertising services. It will be headed by president Dennis Matthews. The new agency takes the place of Enterprise's former in-house digital and creative division called Hub at Enterprise, launched in 2018. Creative Currency will operate offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, Edmonton and Halifax. It will service Enterprise accounts as well as its own clients.
“We’re living in a disrupted world where a Reddit thread or a viral TikTok can sway opinions or move markets faster than a press conference or TV ad,” said Matthews. “It’s less about who you are or how much you spend. It’s the creative ideas that give you currency. You need a campaign that considers the political, societal and reputational possibilities and consequences. That’s where we come in. We believe there’s a major opportunity to operate at the intersection of public affairs and consumer marketing to provide the types of winning ideas and perspectives that will resonate with target audiences.”
