Hershey conducts Oh Henry promotion

Hershey Canada is conducting a promotion for its Oh Henry! chocolate bar in association with live streaming video site Twitch. The promotion is aimed primarily at video game enthusiasts. During the initiative, consumers will receive 50 of Twitch’s virtual currency, bits, each time they purchase an Oh Henry! Level Up bar. Consumers can redeem the bits through an on-package code. The campaign also includes a website at OHLevelUp.com.
“The popularity of gaming in Canada has exploded over the last 18 months,” said Alejandro Mosquera, marketing manager for Oh Henry! “Following the great results Oh Henry! Level Up delivered in 2020, one of the most successful innovations in the chocolate category, we wanted to continue the momentum and take the gaming reward to the next level. This collaboration with Twitch allows us to further integrate the Oh Henry! brand into the Twitch community with a proposition that feels not only authentic for the brand personality but also relevant for consumers.”
