Avocados from Mexico resumes campaign

Avocados from Mexico, an organization that works to promote the consumption of avocados from that country, has resumed its “Anytime is Avotime” campaign for a third year. The four-week promotion began with an event at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto on Nov. 6. It consisted of advertising creative on the digital billboards surrounding the venue, as well as a kiosk with two prize wheels. Each time a consumer won a prize, a choir would sing the campaign jingle. The effort also featured promotional workers on roller skates carrying flags. The remainder of the national promotion will consist of digital advertising and social media content, as well as in-store materials. The campaign was developed by Sopexa Canada.
“It was an event that matched the fruit and trademark signature, both bold and lighthearted, a seal of quality and authenticity,” said Fanny Severy, senior account manager at Sopexa Canada. “Our goal is to remind people that avocados from Mexico are so versatile and available all year round, enhancing each of their Avomoments.”
