Report: Television ad spending in Canada

According to a new report from Standard Media Index, Canadian television advertising spending increased 35% in the second quarter of 2021 compared to the same quarter of 2020. However, this still represents a 12% decline in spending from spending in the second quarter of 2019. Canadian TV ad spending is similar to that of the United States, according the the report, which saw an increase of 32% over last year, but a 14% decline compared to 2019.
