Beneva readies first campaign

Beneva, a Quebec City-based insurance company formed from the merger of La Capitale and SSQ Insurance, is preparing its first advertising campaign for the new brand. The campaign is intended to raise awareness of the merger, the new brand and the company’s services. It will begin on Oct. 11 and will consist of television, billboard and online advertising, accompanied by social media content. The creative features a number of Quebec personalities, including Rita Baga, Sonia Benezra, Joanne Vrakas, Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse, Marie-Lyne Joncas and Manuel Hurtubise. The campaign was developed by Lg2.

“Since we are highly motivated by the desire to put people first, the ad campaign brings home the idea that our best ambassadors are our employees, people looking out for people,” said Beneva vice-president of marketing Louis-Philippe Roux. “We want to present Beneva as a new major player in the insurance industry, a company that is approachable and close to its customers.”
