The Bay conducts Pinterest promotion

Department store chain The Bay has begun an online promotion in collaboration with social media service Pinterest. The retailer is using the service to host a bilingual “lookbook” featuring various home decor products. Each product includes a link the TheBay.com at which consumers can make a purchase. According to the company, this is the first time it has conducted a promotion of this type.
“The Bay is helping Canadians shop for their home with simplicity and confidence,” said Allison Litzinger, brand vice-president at The Bay. “With this digital lookbook, customers have the ability to discover trends and envision their spaces with quality products, and take the leap from ideation to reality seamlessly. This collaboration with Pinterest is reflective of The Bay’s digital-first innovation and how we are elevating the online shopping experience, bringing colourful, attainable luxury into the homes of Canadians.”
