Kraft Heinz conducts local restaurant contest

Kraft Heinz Canada has begun a promotion intended to support local restaurants. During the initiative, the company will provide $100,000 in free digital advertising to participating restaurants seeking to promote their patios during the summer. Heinz will select 100 independent restaurants nationally to receive $1,000 each in digital advertising. Restaurant owners can enter the draw online at <> until Aug. 2. The contest is being promoted with social media content from Salt as well as public relations from The Colony Project.

“In talking with independent restaurant operators, it’s clear they want to vocalize their reopening and invite customers back,” said Lucy Abbruzzese, director of food service marketing at Kraft Heinz Canada. “Their challenge is getting the word out, and that’s where Heinz can help. As the iconic condiment with a place on every patio, we are thrilled to spread the word about their patios across digital and social media.”
