American Express continues Shop Small campaign

American Express Canada has begun a new phase of its “Shop Small” campaign, intended to support small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. This phase, called “Let’s Go Small,” will run nationally until Aug. 23. It includes a series of “Neighbourhood Walk” online videos that highlight local business in three neighbourhoods in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. It also features influencer activities that encourage consumers to patronize local businesses. Another component is a collaboration with So.da and Twitter on a new collection of content promoting Canadian-owned businesses and the people behind them. The campaign also includes 15-second television commercials and online videos, audio ads on Spotify, additional social media content and out-of-home advertising in Toronto.
