Nespresso conducts two campaigns

Coffee machine brand Nespresso Canada has begun a new campaign promoting its Barista Creations Over Ice iced coffee product line. Developed by McCann Montreal, the campaign includes customs playlists on Spotify intended to enhance summer moments. The playlists will become available on June 21, the first day of summer.

“Iced coffee is a major, fast-growing trend and has been for a few years now,” said Julie Pomerleau, vice-president of marketing at Nespresso Canada. “This is Nespresso’s first major campaign behind our iced coffee offering. We wanted to celebrate this blissful and long-awaited coffee moment.”

In related news, Nespresso has begun a business-to-business campaign called “Quality Pairings.” The content marketing initiative, also developed by McCann Montreal, highlights Canadian restaurants, cafes and hotels that serve Nespresso coffee.

“We’re proud to be partnering with Nespresso to bring more joy and fun to this summer season,” said Michelle Aboud, managing director at McCann Montreal. “Everyone’s ready for that. Our team has really enjoyed creating more local content for the brand. It enables us to connect with Canadian coffee lovers where they live.”

Media work for both campaigns is being conducted by Wavemaker.
