Juniper Park TBWA of Toronto has launched a new practice called Scalpel. According to the agency, the practice will specialize in “precision marketing.” It will make use of demographic and consumer behaviour data from Omni, a data service operated by Omnicom. Scalpel will be headed by managing director of precision marketing Liam Steuart. He joined the agency late last year. Prior to that, he was a senior vice-president and general manager at Merge. In addition, Lee Lin has joined the agency as vice-president of data and analytics. He was previously director of analytics and insights at Vision7.
“In order to win today, clients need to be razor sharp,” said Jill Nykoliation, CEO of Juniper Park TBWA. “They need to use a scalpel to carve out the path forward. We are that scalpel. Data enables us to combine precision with brilliant ideas.”
