New CMO at EQ3

Winnipeg-based furniture manufacturer and retailer EQ3 has appointed Steve Ambeau to the newly-created position of chief marketing officer. He will begin work on June 1 and will be based in the company’s Toronto office. He will head marketing efforts for EQ3 and its parent brand Palliser in North America. Ambeau was most recently CMO at Rapid RTC. Prior to that, he was head of marketing communications for Mini USA. He has also been global head of digital marketing for the Mini brand at BMW Group and national Mini brand communications manager at BMW Canada. Ambeau has also worked at GEL Communications and Zurich North America.
