So.da, the in-house social media and digital agency of Toronto-based Corus Entertainment, is preparing to launch five new original series beginning this month. The shows will cover a range of topics, including baking, gardening, history, cosplay and sexual relationships. According to the company, the short-form series have been designed to provide “high performing and authentic opportunities” for advertisers to reach specific groups of consumers. The shows will be distributed through the social and digital presences of the Food Network Canada, HGTV Canada, History Canada, Showcase and Slice.ca.
“Across our brands, we have incredibly loyal, passionate and engaged communities who are connecting with us around their passion points,” said Dervla Kelly, senior vice-president of marketing at So.da. “From food to home, to fashion, beauty, wellness, travel, pop culture, music and so much more, our audiences are looking to us not only to be entertained, but for advice, inspiration, recommendations and connection to like-minded Canadians. Through a deep understanding of what drives our audience, along with data-driven insights, we continue to build out a ton of new content to engage our audiences, while providing seamless opportunities for advertisers to integrate into our short-form content.”
