APG Canada conducts vaccination initiative

Vancouver-based not-for-profit organization APG Canada has begun an initiative intended to counter COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. According to the organization, 30 communications strategists and six vaccine experts nationally collaborated to develop a set of communications materials on the subject. The materials have been released online for public use at <https://www.apggoodthinking.com/vaccine-hesitancy-overview>.
“As strategists we could see the data around vaccine hesitancy in Canada showed a worrying gap between those willing to take the COVID-19 vaccines and the amount of people needed to be immune to end this pandemic,” said Penny Norman of APG. “Communications can play a huge role in supporting communities to be better informed and more confident in the vaccines, and with our industry having some of the best communications minds in Canada, it made sense to bring everyone together around this problem.”
