Strut Entertainment launches marketing division

Toronto-based music, entertainment and lifestyle agency Strut Entertainment has launched a new marketing division intended to provide services to emerging and established music artists, entertainment talent and businesses. These services include corporate partnerships, digital marketing and influencer marketing, in addition to its existing public relations, social media, content marketing, event management and project management services.
“It was a natural progression for us to expand our marketing services,” said Samantha Pickard, president of Strut Entertainment. “As the entertainment, content and lifestyle industries continue to change, our client needs have also evolved, and we are advancing and innovating with them to support their continued success.”
In related news, Strut has appointed Ashley Sperling to the newly-created position of director of marketing and brand partnerships. She was most recently head of marketing and communications for a series of non-profit organizations including the Victoria Hospitals Foundation and MusiCounts. She has also worked for Universal Music Canada, BlackBerry and Cadence Music Group.
