BILD conducts content campaign

The Building Industry and Land Development Association, an organization representing home builders, land developers and renovators in the Greater Toronto Area, has begun a content marketing campaign in collaboration with Torstar. The campaign consists of content hightlighting 100 years of building in the city. The effort began on April 24 to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the association. Each part of the eleven-part content series will focus on a specific decade. They will be published on Saturdays in the Toronto Star and its website until July 3.
“As we looked for a special way to commemorate BILD’s 100th anniversary through its predecessor the Toronto Home Builders’ Association, we were looking for a way to share with the public how the cities of the GTA developed and how home builders, land developers and commercial builders literally built, block by block, where we live,” said David Wilkes, BILD president and CEO. “The Star, with its extensive archives, plus our timeline and knowledge, was a good fit to paint the picture of how our city and region have grown over the past hundred years. The idea snowballed into a full series that serves our goals to celebrate Toronto, the GTA and the contributions of BILD and its members.”
