Ecobee conducts campaign

Ecobee, a maker of smart thermostats, light switches, home sensors and related products, has begun a new marketing campaign. Developed by FCB Six, the campaign promotes the company’s new SmartCamera home monitoring product line, as well as its SmartSensors and Haven subscription service. According to the agency, the campaign is intended to “instill wonder in the possibilities of the smart home.” It consists of a series of online videos, along with television and out-of-home advertising in Canada and the US. The creative uses the tagline, “Imagine What Home Could Be.” Cossette Media and Search & Gather also participated in the campaign.

“Through this campaign, we chose to see home not for what it is, but for what it could be, free from friction and filled with magic,” said Ecobee chief marketing officer Kevin Banderk. “In FCB Six, we found a strategic creative partner who really understood our brand and helped us bring it to life in a fresh and relevant way while staying true to our vision.”
