Venture CEO buys two firms

Arlene Dickinson, CEO of Venture Communications, has acquired media company The Bullet and content development agency Newsworthy Co. The Bullet produces an online daily news digest at <http://www.thebullet.ca>, while Newsworthy Co. specializes in branded content creation and digital publishing. Founder of The Bullet and co-founder of Newsworthy Co. Joanna Track will remain with the company as media network executive vice-president.
“With the acquisition of The Bullet and Newsworthy Co., we have added media and content resources that will be integral to helping brands broadcast their products and services to consumers and maintaining a competitive edge in Canadian and international markets,” said Dickinson.
