BMO conducts orchestral promotion

BMO of Montreal recently conducted a promotion in collaboration with the Montreal Symphony Orchestera. The promotion, developed by FCB and BLVD, took the place this year of the bank’s annual private Christmas concert for staff and customers. It consisted of an augmented reality presentation that allowed participants to view orchestra musicians in their homes using a mobile device.

“We were all keen to create something that was more than just a thank you video,” said Sylvain Dufresne, vice-president and creative head at FCB Montreal. “With the many restrictions linked to the pandemic, augmented reality seemed ideal for creating what came closest to a real meeting with the musicians of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. BMO really wanted to create a unique experience.
