Pringles begins Baconator promotion

Kellogg Canada has begun a promotion for its Pringles brand of potato chips in collaboration with fast food chain Wendy’s. For a limited time, the company has released a new variant of the product called the Pringles Wendy's Baconator, which is intended to taste like a bacon cheeseburger. The flavour debuted in the United States last year.
“Wendy’s is known for serving up great tasting, high quality food every day, all over the world,” said Christine Jakovcic, vice-president of marketing and nutrition at Kellogg Canada. “So, in true Pringles fashion, we wanted to capture the fresh beef, cheese and bacon flavours of a Wendy’s Baconator, all in one chip. This was an extremely ambitious endeavour, especially when you consider the bar was set high after a successful US launch last summer. The Pringles flavour team did it again by bringing this exclusive taste experience to Canada.”
