CIBC adds Insights service to mobile app

CIBC of Toronto has introduced a new mobile banking feature called “CIBC Insights.” According to the company, the service uses artificial intelligence technology to offer consumer personalized information about their spending and saving behaviour, as well as recommendations based on their financial transactions. The service also notifies users of savings opportunities and unusual transactions, as well as advice on managing daily spending. The new feature is available through the CIBC Mobile Banking application.
“CIBC Insights is another example of the innovative technology and digital capabilities CIBC is building to deliver more interactive services and an even better banking experience for our clients,” said Aayaz Pira, senior vice-president of digital banking and innovation at CIBC. “The personalized financial guidance that CIBC Insights offers can help our clients manage their day-to-day finances. It’s like having a financial coach in your pocket.”
