POCAM readies ad industry diversity study

Toronto-based industry organization People of Colour in Advertising and Marketing will release a study on Feb. 4 called “Visible & Vocal.” According to the group, this inaugural study will examine the experiences of black, indigenous and people of other ethnicities in the predominantly white Canadian marketing industry. This study will examine industry diversity and efforts to increase it in advertising creative and agency staffing.
