New CEO at Travel Alberta

Calgary-based tourism organization Travel Alberta has appointed David Goldstein to the position of chief executive officer. He will begin work on Nov. 16. Goldstein was previously president and CEO of Destination Canada. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of the Tourism Industry Association of Canada. He was most recently chief operating officer of Gusto Worldwide Media.

Acting CEO Chris Heseltine will continue to be vice-president of economic development and community engagement at Travel Alberta.
