Steam Whistle begins campaign with Google

Toronto-based beer company Steam Whistle Craft Brewing has begun a new advertising campaign in collaboration with Google. The campaign includes billboards in the Greater Toronto Area from Outfront, as well as display ads on Google properties and social media content on Facebook and Instagram. The creative asks the question “Hey Google, what is Canada’s premium beer?” Consumer who ask this question to a Google device will receive the answer, “Steam Whistle Premium Pilsner.”

“For the past 20 years we have been focused on brewing Canada’s finest beer and winning the hearts and minds of Canadian beer lovers,” said Greg Taylor, CEO of Steam Whistle Brewing. “Our approach to crafting beer, our commitment to sustainability, our history, our branding and, most importantly, our high-quality beer has positioned Steam Whistle nicely to be Canada’s premium beer.”
