Quebecor of Montreal is participating in an art exhibit in Laval, QC called Zoom Art, an initiative of the City of Laval intended to highlight contemporary art. Quebecor has provided display space on 30 transit shelters in the city for works by local artists. The initiative will run until Oct. 25 as part of a program called Les Journées de la culture. Residents can also view the exhibition by following an online map.
“It’s wonderful to be able to enjoy local artistic talent on the way to work and to see how art can be experienced in the street as well as the museum,” said Patrick Jutras, chief advertising officer at Quebecor. “The beautiful rendering of works of art in the Zoom Art exhibition on Quebecor Out-of-Home’s street furniture indicates the range of possibilities available to advertisers, from the most pragmatic to the most creative. It’s a great way to be inspired and to stimulate your creativity, in spite of the current situation which has closed down so many cultural venues.”
