Total Mom begins second annual contest promotion
By Adnews Staff
The Total Mom, a company that hosts consumer events aimed at mothers, has resumed a contest promotion called “Canada’s Total Mom Pitch” for a second year. It is being conducted in association with the Scotiabank Women Initiative and Visa Canada. The national contest is aimed at entrepreneurs who are also mothers. Eligible participants can enter until Nov. 12 at <http://www.thetotalmomshow.ca/total-mom-pitch> by submitting descriptions of their businesses. A judging panel will select five finalists to participate in a three-month program beginning in December and consisting of mentorship activities with various business incubator organizations. On March 15, the finalists will compete at a live event for a grand prize consisting of $10,000 in cash and $20,000 in business services. The finalists will also receive a membership with The Canadian Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the Women’s Executive Network. Marketing support for the contest is being provided by Larche Communications, with public relations by Reach Global Marketing.
“It’s helping ambitious moms across Canada by networking with powerful women, asking for recommendations, and getting valuable support when we need it most,” said Anna Sinclair, CEO of The Total Mom. “It was a no-brainer to partner with The Scotiabank Women Initiative and Visa, both leading the industry with action to ensure women entrepreneurs have access to powerful resources.”
