HomeEquity Bank begins promotion with Kurt Browning

HomeEquity Bank of Toronto has signed a promotional agreement with figure skater Kurt Browning. As part of this agreement Browning appears in a new national television advertising campaign aimed at consumers over the age of 55. Another element of the agreement will involve Browning speaking to the company’s customers one-on-one by telephone as part of its “Operation Warm Hug” program, intended to check on the wellbeing of older consumers in isolation.
“The recent work HomeEquity Bank has done to support older Canadians during this pandemic has inspired me anew to continue to champion their hard work,” said Browning. “I imagine I'll have some great chats. Just the thought of that gets me excited. Being able to play a role in the great work the bank has done with Operation Warm Hug is a prime example of just how much our values are aligned. While I can't give away all the details just yet, let me just say I'm really looking forward to talking to and getting to know many of HomeEquity Bank's customers. I'm sure they have some fascinating life stories to tell that will give my quadruple toe loops a run for their money.”
