Zespri International hires WPP

Zespri International, a New Zealand company that markets kiwifruit, has retained a pair of WPP agencies to handle its communications. VMLY&R and Mindshare will act as global agencies of record for the company and will work to increase awareness of its products in 53 countries. These communications initiatives will use the tagline, “Make Your Healthy Irresistible.” The appointment is intended to consolidate the company’s account for greater efficiency and consistency. WPP won the assignment in a year-long competitive pitch process. Zespri represents approximately 4,300 kiwifriut growers in New Zealand and internationally.
