Canadian Payroll Association conducts Powered by Payroll campaign

The Toronto-based Canadian Payroll Association has begun an influencer marketing initiative called “Powered by Payroll” in advance of National Payroll Week from Sept. 21 to 25. The national promotion makes use of a website at <> and is intended to raise awareness of the work done by payroll professionals. The website also hosts a “Payroll Powerhouse Contest.” Participants can gain points in the contest by contributing to discussion forums, downloading resources and completing a series of social media activities. The grand prize winner will receive a trip to the Canadian Payroll Associations 2021 Annual Conference and Trade Show in Whistler BC. The website is also raising funds for the Dress for Success Canada Foundation. The campaign also includes public relations, social media content and digital media.

“The Canadian Payroll Association is thrilled by the early response to our first influence marketing campaign and excited to provide a platform for the payroll community to celebrate their contributions together,” says Peter Tzanetakis, president of the association. “The payroll function is often misunderstood, and there is no one better than the dedicated payroll professionals across Canada to illuminate the value they provide."
