Clif Bar begins Bike Life campaign

Snack food maker Clif Bar & Company has begun a summer campaign in Canada called “Bike Life” that will encourage consumers to engage in urban cycling. During the campaign, which is being conducted in collaboration with Bike Share Toronto, Clif Bar will distribute approximately 5,000 free bicycle rides to residents of the Greater Toronto Area. Promotional workers will distribute codes for free rides and product samples via a branded trailer that will visit various Toronto locations through the summer. A similar promotion will take place in Montreal in collaboration with Montreal on Wheels.
“As Canada’s leading energy bar, we want to help remind Canadians that adventure isn't only found at the tops of mountains or at some distant getaway, but it's also right here in their own city,” said Aniefre Essien, Clif Bar & Company brand manager for Canada. “During a stressful and unusual time for many across the country, we want to do our part and help more Canadians safely enjoy the summer season through cycling.”
