Harbinger gains two accounts

Harbinger Communications of Toronto has recently gained two new clients. The USA Rice Federation has retained the firm as its communications agency of record in Canada. The agency won the account in a competitive request-for-proposals process. It will work to support the federation’s efforts to promote US-grown rice in Canada, with a focus on its nutritional value and culinary versatility. The assignment includes public relations and trade outreach programs aimed at the retail and food service sectors.
Liva Date Sugar of Mississauga has also hired Harbinger to handle public relations for their line of dehydrated ground raw dates. The agency will work to promote the product as a “whole food alternative” to traditional sweeteners, again with a focus on its nutritional value.
