Kraft Heinz begins grilled cheese sandwich contest

Kraft Heinz Canada has begun a contest promotion in support of its Kraft Singles sliced cheese product. During the promotion, the company will give away 50 cast iron frying pans that will be personalized with a winner’s family name engraved in the handle and one of five designed engraved in the cooking surface. The pans are intended to be used to make grilled cheese sandwiches. Consumers can enter the contest from Aug. 12 to 19 by posting a message to the brand’s Twitter page describing their preferred gilled cheese recipe.
“Millennial parents grew up eating grilled cheese made with Kraft Singles, and now they are enjoying the same classic comfort food with their own kids,” said Heena Verma, senior marketing manager of brand building and innovation at Kraft Heinz Canada. “During a time when we could all use a little more comfort, we wanted to provide these families with a fun way to come together and build memories that can be passed down through generations.”
