Toronto Sun debuts new website

Newspaper the Toronto Sun has redesigned its website at <>. According to the company, the new site is intended to provide improved performance on computers and mobile devices. It also makes use of a new visual design and accessibility features. The site is being promoted with an advertising campaign developed in-house by Postmedia.

The Toronto Sun is a property of Postmedia. The new site is part of a larger initiative to upgrade the websites of all Postmedia tabloid-format newspapers by the end of August. The new sites feature faster load times, simplified navigation and additional advertising options.

“This new look reflects the Sun sensibility,” said Adrienne Batra, editor-in-chief of the Toronto Sun. “Irreverent, bold and brassy and now with an overall better user experience. From in-depth local news stories and hard hitting columnists to entertainment, politics, comprehensive sports coverage and more, the Toronto Sun has it covered, and on every platform that our readers want it.”
