By Adnews Staff
The Canadian Garden Council of Toronto is preparing to conduct an annual promotion called “Garden Days.” From June 13 to 21, the initiative will encourage consumers to participate in gardening and its benefits to physical and mental well-being. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event this year will be conducted via a website at <http://www.gardendays.ca> and the organization’s social media pages. The content will feature a number of health and wellness experts, as well as gardening specialists.
“We believe that this time, during the pandemic, is Canada’s sweet spot for gardens,” said Ben Cullen, national spokesperson for the promotion. “A time when Canadians are discovering the joys of the gardening experience at a new level. ‘Garden Days’ is your chance to celebrate the gardening experience with us.”
The promotion will be supported by the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association, Gardens British Columbia and the Quebec Gardens Association, as well as ZRB, Enterprise Canada, Scotts and My Garden Colours.
